Housing Affordability
As shown on the graph above, the median home price has been rising a lot more quickly over the past 40 years than the median household income

Back in 1985, the median home price was about 3.5 times the median household income.  Today, it's about 5 times the median household income.

Though, keep in mind, those are based on nationwide medians.

Locally, the median household income is $76,570 and the median home price is $328,800.  That a multiple of 4.3, so slightly more affordable than that nationwide average noted above.
