There are many steps to the marketing process that must be carefully considered before listing a home. Here are a few considerations that must be met prior to placing on a property on the market:
Price: Will the asking price give the property the best chance to drive traffic to it? Over pricing or underpricing can be a very costly mistake if the true market price is missed from the beginning.
Condition: Is the property in ideal showing condition? Are there less than ideal cosmetic features? Is staging needed? What is driving the initial impression when a potential buyer steps foot on the property or in the house? By no means does a property have to be in perfect condition to show, but it should allow a potential buyer to see the property for their needs.
