Will November Be a Slow Month for Contract Signing?

Comparatively, November is a relatively slow month for contract signing - actually - the slowest month of contracts being signed.
On the graph above, the grey line tracks the average number (over the past four years) of contracts signed each month of the year.
The busiest month? May... though March and April are right up there.
The slowest month? November... though December and February aren't too far behind.
There are certainly plenty of people occupied by Thanksgiving celebrations and travel in late November... but regardless of the reason for it... November is typically the month with the fewest contracts being signed.
Will this November follow that trend? Or will higher inventory levels give buyers more choices and result in a slightly higher (than normal) month of contract activity this November?
Stay tuned to find out.
