So, back to the location...

The parcel of land shown above is 60 acres located between South Main Street (Route 11) and Interstate 81. The City intends to purchase this land for five million dollars from JMU. But JMU has actually owned it for a few years.

You see, this land was actually originally slated to be used for college student housing!
