The median sales price of a single family home in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County is now approaching $400,000!

Looking back a bit further...

2000 = median of $122,850 (wow!)

2010 = median of $195,000 (+$72K)

2020 = median of $269,000 (+$74K)

2025 = median of $388,235 (+$119K)

As you can see above, in two ten year spans the median sales price increased by about $70,000... but over the past five years it has increased by $119,000.

Where do things go from here?

As shown on the graph above, the median sales price has not increased much (<$1K) thus far in 2025.

Will we see the median sales price level out over the next year or two?  Or will it start to climb again?
