We'll see where the remainder of December takes things, but mortgage interest rates on 30 year fixed rate mortgages have been dropping steadily for the past four weeks. 

They were all the way up to a peak of 7.79% back in late October.

This past week they were all the way back down to 7.03%.

Will we see 6 point something before Christmas?
