How have inventory levels changed over the past two years in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County?
Some might assume there have been fewer (and fewer and fewer) homes on the market as we have progressed through the past 24 months.
As it turns out, inventory levels are largely unchanged over the past two years.
- Two years ago (Jan 2021) = 131 homes for sale
- Two years later (Jan 2023) = 127 homes for sale
Certainly, there have been some changes in between...
- January 2021 - June 2021 = declining inventory levels
- June 2021 - August 2022 = increasing inventory levels
- August 2022 - January 2023 = declining inventory levels
But in the end, current inventory levels are in just about the same spot they were two years ago.
