While home sales declined 7% between 2021 and 2022...
Existing Home Sales declined 15% in 2022... and...
New Home Sales increased 28% in 2022!
So, if you were hoping to buy a home last year... but you weren't interested in the particular sizes, styles or locations of the new home communities being developed in our area... and you felt like you had fewer options than you would have hoped...
...you were right... 15% fewer homeowners sold their (existing) homes in 2022 as compared to in 2021.
