Per recent versions of the Rockingham County Planning Commission meeting packets, a new development is being planned for Route 42 North -- just barely outside the City of Harrisonburg,

The site plan currently on file with the County is shown below, though it is likely not the final site plan.  Per the County's notes it is "awaiting corrections and resubmittal."

The current version of the site plan shows (18) single family home lots and (16) duplex lots -- for a total of 34 homes.
