We know that homes are selling quickly. 

62% of homes that sold in the past year were under contract within 30 days.

75% of homes that sold in the past year were under contract within 60 days.

But was market activity spread out evenly over those first 4, 8 or 10 weeks?

Not at all!

As shown above, when we look at homes that went under contract within the first 10 weeks of being on the market -- a lot of them (most of them!) were under contract the very first week they were listed for sale!

Perhaps this is also why we're seeing more than half of homes selling for more than their list price.
