A bit later this week I'll take a full look at our local housing market and publish my full market report. Before I get to that, though, I thought I'd take a quick peek at the pace of sales in May.
As you can see above...
- Home sales in May 2020 were the slowest since at least 2016.
- The drastic drop from 2019 to 2020 is largely due to an extraordinarily strong month of sales last May, well above and beyond the norm.
Stay tuned for further analysis of our local housing market, but yes, home sales did slow down quite a bit in May.
