City Council members and top City administrators and planners invested time in planning a future for the City of Harrisonburg at a three day retreat last weekend, with an eye towards Harrisonburg 20 years from now -- in 2039.
That vision includes establishing Harrisonburg as the "capital of the Shenandoah Valley".
Extensive conversations took place about education (including the new high school) and a comprehensive housing plan (including affordable housing and homelessness).
