Back in July of 2014, City Council unanimously approved a rezoning request for a grocery store to be built at Mount Clinton Pike and North Main Street.

That is no longer in the works. 

As outlined in this week's Daily News Record Article (Proposed Walmart Fizzles Out) the rezoning request had been for a Walmart Neighborhood Market, but Walmart is no longer purchasing the property and the land is back on the market.
