• Sales during 7 out of the last 11 months exceeded sales in the same month from the prior year.
   
• More specifically, sales during 7 out of the past 8 months exceeded sales in the same month from the prior year.  Thus, the market has been on a hot streak lately.

The current month, however, has thus far not been as exciting. We'll need to see quite a few more sales recorded in the MLS over the next few days (that closed in January) in order to come up on par with last January.
