Local Home Sales Versus National Home Sales |

![]() But wait -- those are national numbers, and may not have much to do with what's going on in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. The chart to the right is from the DNR, showing the 27% decline in July. The chart below shows essentially the same data for Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. The only difference is that the national figures only include existing home sales (it excludes new homes) and the local numbers are both new and existing homes.
