Here's a really long look back at the median sales in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. There have been a variety of different stages in the market over the past twenty years...
- 2000-2003: slow and steady growth
- 2003-2006: rapid, unsustainable growth
- 2006-2008: stability that couldn't last
- 2008-2011: slow but steady downward correction
- 2011-2014: slow and steady growth
- 2015-2019: faster paced, but hopefully sustainable, growth
Where do we go from here?
I think we'll see another solid increase in the median sales price in 2020 and likely over the next few years.
