Here's a really long look back at the number of homes that sell each year in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. There have been a variety of different stages in the market over the past twenty years...
- Pre-2004: Around 800 home sales per year
- 2004-2007: Hot, Hot, Hot! Over 1,200 sales per year!
- 2008-2012: Cooling Off, Bottoming Out. Between 800 and 1,000 sales per year.
- 2013-2015: Slowing Rising. 1,000 - 1,2000 sales per year.
- 2016-2019: Heating Up Again. 1,300+ (or so) sales per year.
Where do we go from here?
I think we'll see 1,300+ home sales per year for the next few years.
